The Year in Summary
This was a golden year in running for us. With 8 marathons under her belt, Leah was becoming a more confident marathoner and learning to reign in her fast starts for more consistent running (although I still had to stop her from speeding off at the start each time).
We found a good cadence, picking a different marathon in a new State each month then keeping up our training runs on weekends when we weren’t running an event. We ended up running 12 marathons in 11 States during the year and ran every single one in under 4 hours.
Not only that but we destroyed our best times, I set a new Personal Record / Personal Best 3 times in the year and Leah twice.
For most of these runs I didn’t write much to go with the pictures when I uploaded them to Facebook, so I’ve tried to add some content from memory.
